Electropia is an electronic music project that has been presenting transmedia art and sound since 2015.
The new live A/V series Electropia – Parallel Systems takes place in Vienna from September - November 2022 and will present video installations, photographies and luminograms.
The electronic live act melts experimental and industrial sound design into abstract, fragile light art or analog live video synthesis. The resulting audiovisual storylines are partly composed, partly improvised to describe the information flow between waves and particles in high-energetic 'quantum effects'.
Live Audio: Nino Sebelich, Grace Schella DJ line: Altroy Jerome, S.verin, Circul8
Live Visuals: 4youreye Projection Art, Philipp Haffner, fluxus_flavia
Group exhibition: Annika Hippler, Markus Guschelbauer, Mahir Jahmal, Catharina Bond.
By working with sound and light, the artists change space and time by changing perspectives. They transform analog signal flows into digital binary language. A reflexion of different perspectives.
The evenings are an artistic approach to the theories of oscillating probabilities and electromagnetic quantum masses in the field of new music – electro, techno, detroit, experimental, industrial.
Based on the book ‚What is Life’ by Erwin Schrödinger, the project promotes intercultural ‚entanglement’ and poses the question: what parallels exist in information-, society- and ecosystems? Reality is non-local, but quantum-entagled. Thus it travels faster than light.

Live Audio: Nino Sebelich, Grace Schella DJ line: Altroy Jerome, S.verin, Circul8
Live Visuals: 4youreye Projection Art, Philipp Haffner, fluxus_flavia
Gruppenausstellung: Annika Hippler, Markus Guschelbauer, Mahir Jahmal, Catharina Bond.
